Parent Requirements
Married couples only, and couples must be married for a minimum of two (2) years prior to application. Preference stated by hosting organizations, for couples with no more than two (2) children already in the home. Prospective parents must have adequate income to care for children and their needs and must have each completed at least 12 years of formal education. Clients must be free of communicable disease. Preference is given to Hawaii residents. Non-Hawaii residents, please contact HIC for update.
