Personalized Information Session
For all families wanting an introduction to HIC's adoption programs
In order to provide better service to prospective adoptive families, effective immediately, HIC will be offering personalized information sessions for Oahu families interested in learning more about our international adoption programs (currently: Africa, China Waiting Child, and Taiwan). You may contact Shannon at (808) 589-2367 or shannon@h-i-c.org to find out which programs you might qualify for, and to schedule an information session with one of our program managers.

Welcome Home Orientation - (WHO)
For all families that have adoption through HIC's international programs.
The WHO course is designed to help newly arrived international adoptive families with the abundance of paperwork contained in the HIC Post Placement Packet. The course will cover your child's citizenship, passport, Social Security, and re-adoption process. Come to the session to receive support and resources to make your post placement process faster and easier.

Learn Infant and Child CPR
Infants and children have a much better chance of survival if CPR is performed immediately. HIC sponsors a FREE three-hour class in Infant & Child CPR. The class is taught by the Honolulu Fire Department. Reservations are required and enrollment is limited.
